X Summit took place in Shanghai in August 2018, with the theme of ‘Co-create Possible Futures.’ The conference included speakers from consulting, transforming industries, entrepreneurship and academic leadership touching upon the wide scope of customer experience. Apogee, as a partner to the organiser Tang, was actively involved in helping to put together the programme for this conference.
Bas Raijmakers, STBY and Daniel Szuc, Apogee were invited to give keynote speeches and discuss how Reach partners have helped global companies to find new opportunities by bringing cultural sensitivity in their innovation practices. With reference to global design research reflections in the book Pioneers, the presentations highlighted some of the examples and principles of holistic people-centred innovation through design.
