In South Africa, many young adults are unemployed, with over % of those starting high school failing to graduate. This raises questions about their professional opportunities. Levi's commissioned Matchboxology to identify a new corporate social opportunity for the next generation of South African consumers.

Needs and Opportunities 

Matchboxology's research revealed that schools had not prepared young people to become productive citizens. They faced cultural barriers in creating startups and lacked entrepreneurial role models in their schools and communities.

Focus on Entrepreneurship 

The research aimed to identify opportunity areas for Levi’s to build on in order to support young people in South Africa.
