Creating a Practice-Oriented Approach

The goal was to create a practice-oriented approach to global UX design for eBay, allowing design teams and researchers to filter out the most important insights about cultural differences and apply them to their designs.

Facilitated Practice with Design Examples

The approach involved a structured way to look at designs through the lens of end-users from different cultures and make changes based on a solid understanding of the impact on user experience. Training sessions were facilitated by a team from Stby and Apogee. Participants practiced on various design examples, some pre-prepared and some from their own projects. A global design framework was developed for eBay to support the training.
