The Challenge of Emerging Low-Cost Smartphone Usage 

This project studied the emerging usage of low-cost smartphones in markets with low disposable incomes. Fieldwork was conducted in India, with the analysis done in London. The research involved two Reach partners, Stby and Quicksand, and the client team.

Analysis of Fieldwork and Identification of Insights

Initial analysis of the fieldwork identified new insights into the behaviours of consumers using low-cost smartphones. These insights were synthesised into an illustrated report with recommendations for design.
