Who Cares? Designing for caregivers in Singapore

The Challenge of Supporting Invisible Caregivers
Caregivers often remain invisible in health and social care services, despite playing an essential role. The National Council of Social Service (NCSS) commissioned The Care Lab to design a better caregiving future for Singapore. The aim of the project was to raise awareness of caregivers and better support them.
Strategic Design Project
The Care Lab developed an overarching strategy to integrate social care with healthcare, education, and citizen services. They designed concepts to introduce new actors, care settings, tools, services, and campaigns and created a prototype toolkit to facilitate social workers.
