Inpatient Hospice Experiences in Singapore

The Challenge of Negative Perceptions of Hospices
Hospices often have a negative image despite their compassionate care for people at the end of life. With ageing populations, there's a need to rethink how end-of-life care is delivered. The Care Lab worked with several hospices to research and re-imagine future hospices and end-of-life care services.
Ethnographic Research and Co-Design Workshops
The Care Lab conducted ethnographic observations, co-design workshops, and in-depth interviews with patients, families, care teams, and experts in the hospice sector in Singapore. This approach was used to gain a critical new view of end-of-life care.
